September 20, 2008 on 12:13 am | In black, blue, cool colors, fixed width, light, two columns, white | No comments
1024px is a light and extremely simple theme with 2 columns, based on Andreas Viklund’s 1024px XHTML/CSS template.
1024px is a deceptively plain theme - elegant in its simplicity - we think ideal for people wanting to communicate clear messages and bright images - we suggest for technologists, illustrators, writers, jewelers, freelance journalists, e-news, spiritual, religious, teachers, bridal outfitters, beauticians, hospice, healers, day spas, retreats, meditation, mediators … choose ‘1024px’ from Themeleon - our 32 x 32 theme shifter.
Quadruple Blue
September 15, 2008 on 10:30 am | In black, blue, cool colors, fixed width, four columns | No comments
Quadruple Blue was designed by that giant in the theme world, Small Potato. Quadruple Blue incorporates graduated tones - a Small Potato signature piece - and the theme is just cool, calm, and effective. No flashy bells and whistles, more along the concept of all the drama of a swiss watch. For business, or perhaps an e-magazine
Perhaps for therapists, lawyers, accountants, pharmacists, mediators, medical, online magazines, e-news, spiritual, religious, teachers, educators, engineers, security guards, insurance, investment brokers, traders, churches, club newsletters, clergy, hospice … choose ‘quadruple-blue’ from Themeleon - our conservative theme shifter.
Ocean
September 14, 2008 on 10:07 am | In blue, custom header, flexible width, two columns | No comments
Ocean was designed by Reality Software, a Toronto, Ontario (Canada) based design company. Nice. But, oh boy, check out that wave! Reminds us of those wonderful days on an isolated beach in Kauai, catching wave after wave … and afterwards, passionfruit and rum cocktails made with fruit gathered fresh from the jungle - laughing with friends and watching the sun set.
* Sigh *
Ocean is a variable (flexible) width theme, ideal for nautical applications, outdoor sports people, fishers, scuba schools, boats, surf shops, wind surfers, aquaculture … choose ‘ocean’ from Themeleon - our surf’s up theme shifter.
Get Some!
September 10, 2008 on 9:33 am | In background image, black, blue, cool colors, fixed width, two columns, white | No comments
Get Some! is designed by John Crenshaw. Get Some! is a refined combination of grungy background and clear typography. The Adsense header can be fleshed out with your details, or with a banner (or images) of your own content.
We can see the Get Some! theme working for illustrators, cartoonists, comic book shops, writers, designers, street artists, creative agencies … choose ‘city-slicker’ from Themeleon - our slightly smudgy but irresistible theme shifter.
Elegant Brit
September 9, 2008 on 8:42 am | In background image, blue, cool colors, fixed width, green, orange, simple, two columns, warm colors, white | 2 comments
Elegant Brit is the the Sean Connery of the theme world. Urbane, classy, looking good in every thing - classic blue, classy green, and genteel orange. What? Can orange be genteel? Well, yes, when integrated with designs by Nick.
Nick’s an architecture major from North Carolina (USA). Not only is Nick into architectural design, but he also does graphical and web designs, plays the guitar, listens to music, plays tennis and golf, and snowboards in winter. Clearly, there’s no stopping this guy. He’s been designing web sites for a few years, using Photoshop, a text editor, and the Gimp.
Enough about Nick already. Let’s take a look at the themes and how they could be used…
We can see Elegant Brit (blue) bring great for nautical applications, lawyers, accountants, counselors, therapists, tailors — anyone seeking the cool, sophisticated look. Vodka martini, stirred, not shaken.
Elegant Brit (green) suggests florists, landscapers, gardeners, organics, health food, pilgrims, botanists, wildlife artists — fresh, crisp green tones - for those seeking to recreate the calmness of ‘England’s green and pleasant land’ perhaps.
Elegant Brit (orange) — the amber colours and soaring shapes seem to suggest travel guides, geologists, not-for-profits, motorsports, cars, automotive, opticians, cartographers, geographers, engineers, architects, quilters, textile designers, interior designers - people looking for a finely crafted finish.
Nick’s basic layout doesn’t change, but the alternative colour options bring a very different feel and presence to the themes. Nice work, Nick. Choose ‘elegant-brit-b’ for Elegant Brit in blue, ‘elegant-brit-g’ for Elegant Brit in green, or ‘elegant-brit-o’ for Elegant Brit in orange from Themeleon - our licensed to thrill theme shifter.
Wooden Mannequin
September 3, 2008 on 5:41 am | In black, blue, cool colors, fixed width, gray, header image, light, three columns, white | No comments
Wooden Mannequin has been authored by Kasper Solberg. Some people think that business people are just puppets - but no, this light-hearted theme shows it’s all about wooden mannequins. Who knew?
This theme is an interesting option for people wanting a business theme with some humor, spirit, or general feel-good factor. Perhaps for business and/or life coaches, recruiters, charitable organisations, conference organisers, investment brokers, consultants, traders … choose the quirky ‘wooden-mannequin’ from Themeleon - our ‘woodworm freaks me out’ theme shifter.
Oldschool
September 2, 2008 on 12:41 pm | In black, blue, fixed width, gray, simple, three columns, white | No comments
Oldschool is another fine theme from the house of Small Potato.
Visually uncomplicated, clean and tidy, just as a good copy book should be. That blue-black ink feeling brings back scary classroom memories - ink stained fingers, spitballs, passing notes, girly swots, and staring longingly out the window…
A great choice for writers, freelance journalists, e-news, online magazines, churches, teachers, educators, diarists, students, copy writers, memorabilia, clergy … choose ‘oldschool’ from Themeleon - our ‘the dog ate my homework’ theme shifter.
Calm
August 27, 2008 on 9:53 am | In blue, cool colors, fixed width, header image, light, two columns, white | No comments
Calm was designed by Nick Barrett. The header image can be replaced with an image of your choice - or you can keep with the original image of the jellyfish. Sure, we’ll tidy up the credits to Nick and his site.
Maybe it’s the jellyfish image, but Calm speaks of those wonderful warm tropic waters, lapping gently on the coral sands. Maybe we all just need a vacation.
We’re thinking resorts, day spas, dive schools, boat rentals, chandlers, meditation, retreats - anything, anywhere, to ease back and r-e-l-a-x… choose ‘calm’ from Themeleon - our very relaxed theme shifter.
