Chronicles
September 22, 2008 on 12:36 am | In beige, brown, cream, three columns, warm colors | No comments
Chronicles is another fine theme by Jai Nischal Verma. Licorice and cream fudge colours, sweet and easy to work with - the little graphic details adding a spark to keep things from being bland.
We can see the colours and designs of this theme working will for book binders, sweet shops, musicians, organics, landscapers, late night cafés, cool jazz, rug merchants, wildlife artists, animal lovers - cattery, kennels … choose ‘chronicles’ from Themeleon - our expresso theme shifter.
Identity
September 11, 2008 on 9:38 am | In brown, cream, fixed width, gray, three columns | No comments
Identity is a dark colored theme fully validated for maximum readability and designed by Jai Nischal Vermaand. The charcoal-y and soft beige colors complement the cream text background. Soft and easy on the eye, while not sacrificing any readability.
Identity has a faint air of Victorian about it - Darjeeling tea, name cards, and battenburg lace - we can see this theme being used by book binders, museums, historians, cartographers, military, memorabilia collectors … choose ‘identity’ from Themeleon - our ‘lemon and a dash of sugar’ theme shifter.
YGo CMS
September 4, 2008 on 6:18 am | In black, brown, fixed width, four columns, three columns, white | No comments
YGo CMS is designed by Amitabh Shukla. Content Management Systems (CMS) is a way you can leave the layout of your web site to the theme, so you can concentrate on the really important part - developing your valuable content. And this is part of YgoY’s strategy -
‘Why go why’ or in short ‘YgoY’ strongly believes that knowledge is empowering and the magic of knowledge is in knowing and knowing more. We also believe that the only ability that has helped mankind develop is COMMON SENSE, thru which we present it to people who are looking for the RIGHT information on the overloaded Internet.
YGo CMS is presented here fresh out-of-the-box, and will probably need a little customization for your site. It’ll make a great theme for writers, freelance journalists, e-news, online magazines, churches, teachers, educators, copy writers, clergy, club newsletters, sport clubs … choose ‘ygocms’ from Themeleon - our managed theme shifter.
Peaceful Rush
August 25, 2008 on 11:41 am | In brown, fixed width, header image, simple, two columns, warm colors, white | No comments
Peaceful Rush is designed by Small Potato of WPDesigner.com. The header image can be replaced with an image of your choice - or you can keep with the original image of the agapanthus lined road. It’s a lovely scene - perhaps from ‘My House in Umbria’?
Peaceful Rush reflects a comfortable outdoors-y idea - where someone has taken ‘that all important indoor-outdoor flow’ thing seriously. Rustic in a sophisticated and charming kind of way. That’s Small Potato for you. Image web sites for B&Bs, small hotels, hospitality people, diarists, wildlife artists, gardeners, wedding planners - any could find a cool and peaceful place to rest amongst the rush. Choose ‘peaceful-rush’ from Themeleon - our serene theme shifter.
jd-desert
August 16, 2008 on 4:34 am | In background image, brown, fixed width, three columns, two columns, warm colors | No comments
Available in two or three columns, John Doe’s desert theme makes use of an image of desert. We can’t decide if it’s the Sahara, the Gobi, or the Sahel - no matter, the dunes look amazing. It is said that no-one crosses the desert and remains unchanged…
As with many of John’s themes, they are available as two and three columns - your choice - whatever works best for you.
Apart from making us want to pull into the nearest caravanserai for a leisurely refreshment (or two), we can see traders, pilgrims, travelers, writers, rug merchants, geographers, cartographers, historians, environmentalists, travel agencies, photographers, spiritual or religious organisations, and scholars finding these themes appealing.
Choose ‘jd-desert-3c’ for the three-column version, or ‘jd-desert’ for the two-column version from Themeleon - our happy theme shifter.

Eric [Kukuthebird] Sim’s Kukuspring is part of a series inspired by the four seasons. Eric is a self-professed, ardent fan of fake-vector art, and this theme features sakura (plum) flowers, painstakingly drawn in Photoshop; combined with subtle gradients. He writes - “This theme portrays undying hope and passion. Hope springs eternal.” The theme was ported to WordPress by Grab a Theme.
Perhaps a theme for jewelers, therapists, florists, wedding planners, bridal outfitters, spiritualists, beauticians - for lovers of the elegant; the eternal believers in undying hope and passion. Choose ‘kukuspring’ from Themeleon - our happy theme shifter.

Camden Bucey’s Coffee Stained is based on the classic WordPress Default. Despite the coffee stain, the theme is clean and tidy - as might be expected from Default, and the muted colours work very nicely. Brings back those memories of the all-nighters…
